Safety First
These rules and guidelines are for your safety, and the safety of our staff. Please consider them before deciding to rent with us. We have found that by following a simple set of guidelines, everyone has fun and comes back safe.

ALCOHOL:

Alcohol consumption is not allowed on our kayaks or SUP’s.

WEIGHT LIMITS:

Weight limits on kayaks and SUP’s vary but are as follows.  For dedicated single sit on top kayaks the weight limit is 290 lbs.  For single/tandem versions the capacity is 350 and the dedicated tandem kayaks have a weight limit is 380 lbs for the combined weight of two people. Our SUP’s have a 275 lb. limit.  WE ALSO HAVE A ONE PERSON PER SUP POLICY. This is due to the product specifications of our kayaks and SUP’s.  All kayaks & SUP’s that are made have weight limitations.  It is very important to be honest and not to exceed this weight limit or else you will forfeit your reservation at your expense. This is for your safety and for the longevity and structural integrity of our equipment.  Damage done to any kayak or SUP due to the misuse or exceeding any limits listed here will be at your expense.

YOUR CONDITION:

Most importantly if you feel like your age, physical health, or mental condition may cause any harm to yourself or our staff please do not rent from us.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.  Also, if for any reason we feel that your age, physical, mental condition or behavior and attitude may put yourself, your group, other people, our equipment, property or staff in jeopardy, we will not rent to you.

REMEMBER:

Remember to use common sense when renting and using kayaks and SUP’s.  You are responsible for them while they are in your possession.  The renter is the responsible party and must fill out waivers before you paddle off. YOU BREAK IT….YOU BUY IT.  IF IT’S STOLEN….YOU BUY IT. Replacement cost for items is listed on release waiver.
